Participating team description:
A. Professional
teams

Around 15 domestic
and foreign teams assembled by bird-related organizations. |
| B. Company teams |
3~5 teams assembled by companies |
| C. Promotional teams |
7~10 teams assembled by institutional
organizations, schools, communities, and individuals |
| D. Colleage teams |
3~5 teams assembled by colleage
students, young communities. |

E. Teenage team |
3~5 teams assembled
by age of 11~18 students, each team must includ two students
and at least one adult. |
Activity amenities:
- No registration fee required.
- International teams will be provided free
accommodations and meals on April 13 and 14.
- One permit will be issued for one vehicle per team
(one team, one vehicle). By showing your receipt
and vehicle permit,
you can enter and leave the control area during the competition
with no restrictions. You must pay a parking fee of NT$100/vehicle.
- Each person who participates will receive some gifts from the
Dongshih Forest Administration.These will be presented at lunch
on April 14.
Awards:

The
first five teams with the highest number of total bird species
recorded will receive awards. The prize for the most birds
recorded will go to the team with the highest number of
species.

Promotional
teams |
The first two teams with the
highest number of total bird species recorded will receive
awards. The prize for most birds recorded will go to the
team with the highest number of species.

| Colleage teams |
The first team with the highest

Special awards |
─One team with the highest average
age will receive an award.
─One team with the lowest average age will receive an award.
─An award will be given to the team who comes closest to predicting
the exact number of birds they will see. |

Please fill in the name list before March 16, 2012 and send it
to edu@bird.org.tw (or contact Ms.

Important items:
Participant age restriction: All participants must have been
born before January 1, 2001, and each team must have at least
one adult member.
Lunch on April 14 will be provided. In order to
protect the environment, please prepare your own cup or canteen,
dishes, and reusable utensils.
