中華鳥會很榮幸受邀參加由美國的環境組織 Environment for the Americas(EFTA) 主辦的2020年世界候鳥日活動，今年度的主題是 Birds connect our world ! 為了讓其他國家的朋友多認識台灣的候鳥現況，本會國際事務部主任Scott Pursner與EFTA執行長Susan Bonfield進行了視訊訪談，其中我們也錄製了一段影片，介紹台灣在東亞澳候鳥遷徙線上的重要性。

Birds connect our world and it will take a global effort in order to conserve and protect migratory bird species. That's why it is so important that we all work together, even across flyways, for this purpose. On May 9th 2020,the TWBF was honored to take part in a World Migratory Bird Day 2020: Birds Connect Our World event hosted by Environment for the Americas. We created a special video about Taiwan and the important role it plays along the East Asian Australasian Flyway for many migratory species, including this year's mascot, the Bar-tailed Godwit.
